The definitive diff upgrade for E36. It may seem commonplace to see finned differential covers on modern European sportscars, but this beneficial treatment was not standard practice for E36 owners. Rogue Engineering's own cover boasts double the fluid capacity versus the standard cover and the aforementioned fins work to literally capture airflow to cool the cover.
With these two features working in tandem, track day enthusiasts are able to see a 35° F decrease in diff temp, which effectively extends the life of the clutch packs within your case and ultimately means more trouble-free, reliable miles when you need it most. For even more peace of mind, a cooling fin reinforcement bridge, similar to the E46 M3 factory cover, add strength.
Each cover includes new hardware and pre-pressed bushings for easier installation: OE rubber bushings are the default, whereas Rogue urethane bushings are an optional add-on. An oil temperature sensor port comes pre-tapped and includes a plug for those who do not need the additional monitoring. This is a must-have mod for both street and track driven E36's and are proudly used by PTG on their E46 race cars.
