Future Classic has worked with Novelli Competizione, the engineering figurehead behind Fall-Line Motorsport, to spawn a bracket that will not only allow a complete carbon ceramic (CCB) retrofit for the E9X M3, but also one that will accept the coveted M2C steel brakes (2NH) as well.
The Best Bang for Your Buck
The M2 Competition comes equipped with some of the best OE brakes in the BMW lineup today courtesy of a multi-piston caliper setup and large rotors. The front rotors measure a beastly 400x36mm while the rear discs are a 380x30mm—a decidedly HUGE upgrade from the E9X M3's stock units: 360x30 and 350x24 respectively. Steel rotors also mean replacements are cheap and, since these are OEM components, readily available.
The Ultimate Performance
For anyone who hasn’t driven a car with carbon ceramic brakes, there is simply nothing like it on the road. CCBs combine the performance and weight of carbon (exceptional heat dissipation, friction, and thermal conductivity) with the incredibly low wear characteristics of ceramic. This dual benefit not only enables you to run them for the lifespan of the vehicle in most cases, but also enjoy unsurpassed road compliance.
Unfortunately E9X M3 owners never got an opportunity to option these into our cars, until now. With the extremely talented minds at Novelli, we are able to offer a complete, plug and play CCB retrofit kit for the E9X M3. Novelli's beautifully CNC machined hardware allows the F8X components to bolt up without any guesswork and allow you relish the benefits of carbon ceramics.
